Forgive Me, Father

Forgive me Father for I have sinned,
I allowed myself to be led astray by the sins of the world,
I allowed anger to consume my heart,
I gave the Devil room within my soul,
I have burned bridges that should help me,
I have shamed you Lord,
I have cursed your very name with my shameful act,
Yet you still love me despite my sinful nature,
I wonder why.
