Hypocrisy

I make mistakes every day,

Yet people judge,

I try to appease the critics,

Yet they still judge,

I try to hustle and make that bread,

No results and now criticisms,

I pray everyday and try and fast,

Still nothing but jeers from humanity,

Why have you forsaken me Lord?

Have I lost favor in your sight?

Who oh who did I offend?

I am no saint,

I have sinned,

But so do all humans,

Yet all they do is judge,

They utter careless words,

They abuse and mock others,

All in the name of covering their own shame,

What a pity.
