Lowkey Independence Day

It is that time of the year. On this day 61 years ago, my dear motherland Nigeria gained her independence.

A lot has happened over the years. Both good and bad. Yet we are still standing and hopefully, this country will not remain on life support for a while, given some of the chaos and bloodshed that has ensued over the years.

I was no that enthusiastic about today due to a lot of the scary things that have been happening in tho country. Lord have mercy upon us all.

To my fellow Nigerians, violence is not the way. Violence will only destroy this nation even further. To our leaders, listen to your people. Listen to your children!!!

To my youths, arise and protect the nation that we love so dearly. We are the leaders of tomorrow. Our voices need to be heard. No matter what or wherever I go, I will always be a proud Nigerian. Happy Independence Day.
