Poem: Crowd Mentality
Everybody be chasing after the same things,
Money, fast cars, fast life and all diamond rings,
They chase after every course, every realm of influence,
They continue to hustle without a form of rest,
They do as society tells them and generations before,
And yet despite best efforts, we all end up poor,
We all act as though we have no minds of our own,
Why? Because society has turned us all into mindless clones,
You wonder why humanity is toxic and superficial?
All that b.s has been our daily ritual,
Social media certainly does not help matters,
With all the glitz, glamour and filters,
Yet we see people balling and making it,
We see people breaking from society’s script,
We see them shine and be great,
Yet society places some of these folks on the stake,
And these people continue to be blessed,
Because they refused to be misled,
They refused to be mindless sheep,
Even if it costs them their sleep,
The hustle is worth it all,
Because society set us all up to fall,
